![]() ![]() Maybe increase attacks slightly then if doing D20 every turn. How do you guys think the best way to adapt the Black Axe this without making him too OP? Maybe a mind shackle-esque D20 roll each turn for 1 unblockable hit on injured enemies instead of a re roll on unblocked hits for additional damage? Original idea was re roll unblocked hits for additional damage, giving a POSSIBLE max of 6 hits, but maybe roll D20 every turn after wounded by it, at a 18+(?), for additional wounds. On a roll of 1 or 2 they take an extra wound from the slivers. In addition to wounds suffered, victim must roll a D6 at the start of every magic phase. If victim is not killed outright then these razor sharp slivers start working their way deeper and deeper into the victim's body, causing a slow agonising death. When the axe inflicts a wound, small pieces of the blade break off and embed in the victims flesh. If he fails this he does not roll again and is woundedīlack Axe of Krell is a huge double-handed axe carved from a solid piece of black obsidian rock and enchanted with powerful spells. If he fails his normal save he can immediately roll again, this time on a 4+ D6, but ignoring saving roll modifiers such as strenth of attack. Games Workshop Undead supplement from '94 says-Īrmour of Protection counts like heavy armour -ie, a 5+ D6 on it's own. ![]()
